Councillor Bressey elected President of Alberta Municipalities
After serving as the Vice President of Alberta Municipalities, Grande Prairie City Councillor Dylan Bressey has been elected as President of the association.
The City made a social media post congratulating him on the achievement saying; “Councillor Bressey brings extensive experience to this role, grounded in his deep understanding of policy and governance, his strong relationship-building across municipalities, the senior leadership he has developed over nearly three terms on Grande Prairie City Council, and his recent service as Vice President of Alberta Municipalities.”
On Bressey’s website, he notes the association’s board is made up of mostly new members and they need a president with experience to keep momentum from a new CEO to push forward.
