Grande Prairie Rotary Youth Exchange program seeking applicants for overseas education

Grande Prairie’s Rotary Clubs are calling for any students interested in participating in their overseas schooling program.

The Rotary Youth Exchange program in Grande Prairie says it is at risk of shutting down after operating almost entirely uninterrupted since 1974 due to a lack of student applications.

The Rotary clubs have the ability to send three grade 10 or 11 students abroad for the 2026-27 school year but need to hear from interested students within the next two weeks, or the program won’t move forward.
