Province announces new Assistant Chief Justice for the North Region
A Slave Lake judge is the new Assistant Chief Justice for the North Region of the Alberta Court of Justice.
Robert Marceau was named to the post by the province on Wednesday.
A release announcing the appointment says this is being done “to support court capacity and improve access to justice for Albertans living in the north.”
Marceau has served as a justice since 2018 and was a criminal lawyer in Peace River for the previous 20 years.
