Nov 24, 2025 | 12:23 PM

All residents of Grande Prairie are being invited to attend City Council’s annual Interfaith Luncheon tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 25).

It will start at 11:30 a.m. and go to 1:30 p.m. at Teresa Sargent Hall.

The City says the luncheon brings together residents and faith leaders from across the community to “share in connection, dialogue, and mutual understanding.”

This year’s featured speaker is Lyndon Wall. He is the founder of Refresh Ministries and has preached for nearly three decades, including 15 years as the Pastor to Missionaries for Refresh Ministries. He will present on the theme of “Faith-informed Citizenship: How People of Faith can Help Build a Better City.”

Mayor Jackie Clayton said in a news release; “By coming together across beliefs to share values of kindness, service and respect, we strengthen the sense of community that helps build a better city for everyone.”

Clayton added this year’s theme highlights how faith can inspire active citizenship and compassion in our daily lives.

Tickets are required to attend this event. Online ticket sales ended on Nov. 17. For more information, contact the City of GP.
