Two Storm players named to Canada West team for Junior A Challenge

Two members of the Grande Prairie Storm have been named to the Canada West team for the upcoming Junior A World Challenge.

Defenceman Matthew Lesyk and forward Max Leduc will play in the tournament, set for December 7-13 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec

Twelve of the 22 players on the Canada West squad play in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

The group also includes Whitecourt goalie Luke McKechnie.

Canada West will play Sweden in its first game on opening day.

Dawson Creek has hosted this same tournament in previous years.
