Grande Prairie Intercultural Association salutes its volunteers Saturday

The Grande Prairie Intercultural Association is saluting its volunteers at a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Saturday.

It will be held at the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre on 98 Avenue.

The theme will be Oldie Boogie: A Visit to the 90s in Style.

Organizers say the evening will include “multicultural food, volunteer recognition, cultural performances, and a chance for community members from many backgrounds to share stories and build connections.”

The association assists immigrants and newcomers with things like cultural programs, language help and integration programs.
