County of Grande Prairie 2026 Shelterbelt program order form live

The County of Grande Prairie’s annual shelterbelt program is live on their website.

The program works to help county residents protect their land from erosion by browsing a selection of trees or shrubs online, purchasing them and picking them up in 2026 to plant on their property.

Officials say shelterbelt plants are proven to protect soil, improve air and water quality, enhance wildlife habitats and beautify your landscape.

The program is only available to county residents with no reimbursement or warranty on the plants surviving planting or guarantee all orders will be filled.
