Cleanup underway on Hwy 43 following fire engine collision

The County of Grande Prairie is advising motorists to exercise caution when driving on Highway 43.

A cleanup is underway near the Grande Prairie Airport due to a single-vehicle collision involving a County Fire Engine.

The engine was undergoing test driving at the time and was not responding to an emergency.

The driver was transported to hospital as a precaution and the engine is expected to be towed within the next few hours.
