PRSD approves agreement for students to attend SD No. 60 schools in BC

Certain students living within Peace River School Division’s jurisdiction will now be permitted to attend schools in BC.

During their meeting on November 27, PRSD’s Board of Trustees approved a new Education Services Agreement with School District No. 60 in BC, permitting eligible students to receive approval from Alberta Education and Childcare to attend school outside of Alberta.

The agreement is for students who reside within the Bear Canyon and Cherry Point areas and will allow PRSD to receive base funding for the students, which is then remitted to SD No. 60.
