Spirit River RCMP on scene of serious collision

Spirit River RCMP say they are the scene of what they describe as “a serious motor vehicle collision.”

It happened on Highway 2 about 10 kilometres south of Highway 677 Thursday evening (December 4).

Other details of the crash have not been released by police.

Highway 2 is blocked and traffic cannot get through.

Traffic is being detoured north via Highway 677 and south via Highway 674.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
