Town hall meeting on Fairview NWP campus set for Thursday evening

There is a second town hall meeting on the future of the Northwestern Polytechnic campus tonight (Thursday, December 4) in Fairview.

It will start at 7 p.m. at the Dunvegan Inn & Suites.

A post on the Save Fairview Campus social media page says the meeting will include updates on what has been done in the last month, compare some facts versus some myths, and talk about ways to have what the post refers to as “a sustainable community-driven campus model.”

People in the area are calling on the provincial government to stop all closure work until a feasibility study is finished, to work with local people there on the community model and to update the community on what is being done to keep the campus open.
