Canadian Forces Snowbirds coming to Grande Prairie

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds are coming to Grande Prairie next summer.

They will be among the attractions at the Grande Prairie Regional Airshow, set for Aug. 1 and 2, 2026.

A release from the airshow says this will be an “unforgettable opportunity to witness Canada’s most iconic aerial demonstration team,” adding that the Snowbirds’ performance “embodies teamwork, dedication and Canadian pride.”

“Hosting the Snowbirds is an honour for our community and a highlight for the 2026 Airshow. Their presence elevates the event and gives northern Alberta a spectacular aviation experience that families and aviation fans will be talking about for years,” says airshow co-chairs Amanda Erechook and Bruce Tattrie in that same release.
