PWPSD announces 2025 Christmas Card contest winner

Peace Wapiti Public School Division is congratulating a Grade 11 student at Spirit River Regional Academy for winning an annual art contest.

Jesse Clutton won the 2025 PWPSD Christmas card art contest, winning himself an individual prize as well as a pizza party for his class.

PWPSD alternates which grades can submit for the contest annually, with this year having students in grades 10-12 submit their work under the themes of “The best thing about Christmas” or “The best thing about the holiday season.”

The contest judges say they were happy to be able to crown a winner, despite the contest taking place during the Alberta Teachers Association strike.
