Grande Prairie Farmers’ Market thankful for quick turnaround to new location

The manager for the Grande Prairie Farmers’ Market is expressing her gratitude to the staff at Evergreen Park.

The market has been operating out of the Tara Centre the past two weekends following a fire that left their usual location unusable for the foreseeable future.

Manager Darice Rach says the market was able to get up and running again so quickly thanks to the community partnerships she has helped form over the past 13 years.

Rach says she is grateful for their generosity in helping to keep the market going in this difficult time.

She says there’s no word yet on if the location can be reopened.

The main location of the Grande Prairie Farmers’ Market has been closed since November 21.
