Saddle Hills County seeking proposals to design and build new Happy Valley Fire Hall

Saddle Hills County is accepting proposals from contractors wanting to design and construct the new Happy Valley Fire Hall.

The fire hall would be a two-bay drive-thru sitting at 5,600 square feet.

Contractors would be required to construct a pre-engineered steel structure, as well as construction drawings, complete with building classification information, energy modelling, and calculations to satisfy a building permit plan examination.

Construction is expected to commence in early 2026 and wrap up in February 2027.

Potential contractors have until Jan. 20, 2026, to submit their proposals.

Saddle Hills County officially opened a new fire hall in the Blueberry Mountain area in April.
