Grande Prairie rinks advance to U18 girls curling provincials

Two Grande Prairie rinks advanced to U18 Girls Provincials at a qualifier held over the weekend at the Grande Prairie Curling Centre.

The Livi Maksymetz team beat the Evelyn Larter rink out of Red Deer in the A Event qualifier.

Kyra Doepker then beat Larter in the B Event final.

The Maksymetz and Doepker teams will play in the U18 provincials Dec. 31 to Jan. 4 in Airdrie.
