Heavy snowfall is still occurring in northern Alberta today (Monday, Dec. 15).

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a yellow warning for snowfall with total accumulations hitting up to 30 cm.

Snowfall is expected to happen in the areas north of Webster, east to High Prairie, and north to the Northwest Territories border. The B.C. Peace is also included in the weather advisory.

Grande Prairie received 10.6 cm of snowfall on Sunday, Dec. 14.

ECCC says a final round of snow is expected to taper off Monday evening.
