Local players to take part in Football Alberta’s Senior Bowl

A bunch of football players from the Sexsmith Sabres and St. Joe’s Celtics have been named to Team North for Football Alberta’s 35th Senior Bowl.

The group includes offensive lineman Hudson Palfy, who is listed with both schools.

He is joined on the team by quarterback Carter Zylstra, receiver Brian Becker and linebacker Cyrus Nelson of the Sabres.

Defensive lineman Joseph Okifoh and linebackers Cohen Boucher and Gage Noel of the Celtics are also on the squad.

They are joined by offensive lineman Owen Delaney and defensive lineman Luke Scoville of the Fort McMurray Saints

The game will be played on January 4 in Calgary inside a dome.

The North has won three of the last four editions of this game and is the defending champion.
