Town of Grimshaw delays opening of Mainway Skating Rink to after Christmas break

The Town of Grimshaw says crews have been unable to begin the flooding process for the Mainway Electrical Outdoor skating rink on Wednesday, Dec, 17.

Due to a focus on snow removal on streets, the town says it was unable to remove the snow from the rink surface.

Crews are anticipated to resume work on the rink after the Christmas break, weather permitting.

They are thanking the public’s patience while they focus on clearing snow from the streets.
