Snowfall warning issued in upper Peace Region and B.C. Peace

A yellow snowfall warning is in effect for the Peace Region.

The weather alert ranges from the B.C. Peace to the entirety of northwestern Alberta, north of Webster.

Amounts are expected to be in-between 15-20 cm by Friday evening.

Snow is expected to be the most intense tonight (Thursday, Dec. 18).

Travel may be difficult with visibility at times reduced.

Although Grande Prairie is not included in the weather alert, the city received 9 cm of snow on Thursday.
