New Year’s Eve-ning Out in Muskoseepi Park
The City of Grande Prairie is inviting residents to come to Muskoseepi Park on Wednesday (Dec. 31) evening to ring in the new year.
The New Year’s Eve-ning Out is free and family-friendly and runs from 6:00-10:00 p.m. Residents of all ages are welcome to come to Muskoseepi Park where there will be multiple activities taking place; skating on the pond, horse and wagon rides, with hot cocoa and cookies, as well as a live DJ.
A fireworks display over the reservoir will take place at 10:30 p.m. to wrap up the night.
Grande Prairie Transit will be free throughout the city on Wednesday, starting at 6:00 p.m. Regular service will end at 9:00 p.m., but Late Night On-Demand service will operate until 1:00 a.m. New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1) to get people home safely, no matter where they choose to ring in the new year.
