No on-site physician at Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED Jan. 5&7

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department will be without an on-site physician two nights this week.

Due to an inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician from 8:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, until 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, and again from 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, until 8:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8.

Patients are still asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency, as EMS will remain available to reroute callers to surrounding facilities.

Nursing staff will remain on-site in the Emergency Department providing urgent triage and assessments, and the Virtual Emergency Physician coverage may be available for all or part of this service advisory.
