Potential Measles exposure at Grimshaw-Berwyn ED

Residents who attended the Grimshaw-Berwyn District Community Health Centre Emergency Department last Friday afternoon (Jan. 9) may have been exposed to measles.

According to AHS, an individual with measles was at the ED from 3:00 p.m. to 6:40 p.m.

Now, anyone who attended the Health Centre during the exposure period and hasn’t received their vaccinations is at risk of contracting the disease.

AHS says if measles symptoms develop, stay home and call the hotline at 1-844-944-3434.
