Grimshaw/Berwyn and District Community Health Centre ED closed today

The emergency department at the Grimshaw/Berwyn and District Community Health Centre will be without an on-site physician on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026.

From 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Alberta Health Services (AHS) says there is no physician coverage due to a shortage of clinical personnel.

Officials say nursing staff, however, will be present in the ED to perform triage, assessment and referrals to nearby emergency departments.

Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.
