Storm defencemen receives weekly honours
Grande Prairie Storm Defencemen Connor Frost is being recognized as Defensive Player of the Week for his play over the Storm’s three-game homestand against Fort McMurray.
Frost had five points, including a goal, in their three outings and now heads into this weekend’s back-to-back with Drumheller on a four-game point streak.
Last weekend was a crucial stint for the Storm, as with those three wins, they jumped from fourth to third in the North division standings with 43, and are now only one point back of the MOB for the second-place spot.
Even with Frost’s offensive burst, the Storm remain defensively solid, holding the fourth-lowest goals against total in the league (108 GA).
