County of Grande Prairie recreation survey
The County of Grande Prairie is seeking public feedback on recreation.
According to County Reeve Amanada McDonald, the Recreation Strategic Plan survey, “gives residents an opportunity to help inform the future of recreation in the County, ensuring our parks, programs, and services reflect what matters most to them.”
This survey will help shape the next ten years of County recreation and ask residents about their experiences with County recreation, any gaps or barriers they’ve seen with accessing recreational services, and what opportunities and services should be invested in.
McDonald adds it’s important for them to gather residents’ opinions as “recreation is essential to building healthy, connected communities,” as “it brings people together, supports physical and mental wellbeing, and enhances quality of life.”
