Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention hosting youth peer support training sessions Jan. 30

The Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention is hosting a training session Friday, January 30, for youth to learn how to help their peers struggling with mental health issues.

The centre is offering Youth Peer Support Certificate Training for 12 to 15-year-olds interested in enhancing their supportive skills and gaining the knowledge to support the mental-health and well-being of others through topics like communications, self-care, and awareness.

The training is taking place Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; spaces are limited.
