Primary Care Alberta has confirmed a person infected with measles was in a public setting in Peace River while infectious.

Individuals that visited the Marshall Eliuk Peace River Community Health Centre, Emergency Department Jan. 23 from 5:05 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. may have been exposed.

Anyone potentially exposed and who has had fewer than two doses of the measles vaccine may be at risk of infection and should monitor for symptoms like a fever of 38.3 degrees Celsius, a cough, and a rash.
