Freezing rain expected Friday

A freezing rain warning has been issued by Environment Canada for the Peace region.

EC says rain is expected to start tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 30)and last until the evening.

They add that walkways and roads will most likely become very slippery, and ice may be difficult to detect; local utility outages may also be possible.

Residents are asked to use caution while travelling, and stay up tod ate with current road conditions using 511 Alberta.
