Eastlink Centre’s lazy river re-opening announcement expected in the “near future”
The City of Grande Prairie says the Eastlink Centre Aquatic Area’s lazy river construction is “nearing completion.”
The lazy river has been closed to the public since the pool’s annual maintenance shutdown in September, after staff discovered the liner needed to be replaced.
The City says residents may see fencing come down and equipment vacate the area over the coming days. The lazy river will then move into the operational testing period where AHS must ensure that water is ready for public use.
