Grizzlys’ St. Louis AJHL’s Top Rookie for second straight week

Feb 3, 2026 | 4:37 PM

For a second week in a row, Olds Grizzlys forward Jordin St. Louis has earned AJHL Rookie of the Week honours.

The Portland Winterhawks prospect extended his point streak to six games and 10 points, including a three-point effort on Jan. 30 which was a 7-4 win for the Grizz over the Drayton Valley Thunder.

St. Louis, who is from Airdrie, is now second in the AJHL rookie scoring race, and second in team scoring, with 32 points (14G, 18A) in 37 regular season games. That’s five points off the rookie scoring lead.

He’s now the second Grizzlys player this season to have multiple Rookie of the Week nods, which teammate Ryder Riedel has received four times.

Riedel is six points behind St. Louis.

The Grizz are second last in the South Division, 13 points out of a playoff spot, and with 12 games on the schedule.

They’re back at it Friday, Feb. 20 when they kick off a five-game homestand against the Calgary Canucks at the Olds Sportsplex. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
