Town of Peace River developing volunteer Policing Committee

The Town of Peace River is seeking residents interested in helping to set local policing priorities.

The Town is forming the Peace River Policing Committee to represent community concerns and support the development of community safety plans.

Residents 18 years old or older are invited to volunteer, so long as they pass an enhanced criminal record check and are not Town employees, RCMP or other peace officers.

The volunteer members will meet quarterly at minimum with terms of up to two to three years.
