Feb 16, 2026 | 3:43 PM

A moderate snowfall warning is now in effect for Grande Prairie and several Peace Region communities.

The warning stretches between McLennan and Sexsmith, as around 10 to 20 cm of snow is anticipated to fall.

Environment Canada says the snow will taper off on Tuesday.

They are warning motorists to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions and to allow extra time for travel.

Those travelling today can find up-to-date road conditions on 511 Alberta.
