Poor road conditions in Grande Prairie area

Mounties in Grande Prairie are warning those wanting to drive today, to potentially postpone their plans.

Poor driving conditions are being reported this morning (Tuesday, Feb. 17) after plentiful snowfall overnight.

Heavy snow and wind are contributing to unfavourable road conditions as well as very low visibility, making travel treacherous.

Grande Prairie RCMP is asking the public to avoid all unnecessary travel in the region until conditions improve.
