City of Grande Prairie inviting potential exhibitors to 2026 Youth Career Discovery Expo

Feb 19, 2026 | 6:00 AM

The City of Grande Prairie is inviting local businesses, educators and community organizations to take part in the Youth Career Discovery Expo in early May.

The annual Expo connects teens and young adults with employers and organizations from across the region while exploring career pathways and speaking directly with professionals.

Exhibitors are invited to offer hands-on activities like demonstrations or interactive displays to help the attending youth better understand the possibilities within their community.

Employers with entry-level positions or summer job opportunities for youth to participate are especially encouraged to participate by the city.

“The Youth Career Discovery Expo is about building relationships and opening doors for our youth,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor, Jackie Clayton. “When local organizations share their experiences and passion, it gives young people the confidence to explore new paths and see a future for themselves right here in our community.”

The Youth Career Discovery Expo is taking place May 7.
