Storm defencemen selected as Rookie of the Week

Grande Prairie Storm defenceman Reily Pickford was awarded Rookie of the Week honours after a four-point outing against Devon last weekend.

It was a career high for Pickford, who potted his fifth goal of the season and pushed his point total to 21, second most on the Storm’s back-end.

Currently, the Storm are riding a 16-game streak without a regulation loss, and will now host the Bobcats on Friday, Feb. 27, which will be their lone game on the weekend.
