Another Storm player will be joining Zachary Wilson at Niagara University next season, as fellow assistant Captain Chase Christensen announced his commitment yesterday.

Christensen played in 158 career games, 157 for the Storm, as he originally started his AJHL career with the Camrose Kodiaks in the 2022-23 season; During that time, he totalled 30 goals, 64 points, and 224 penalty minutes.

GM Mike Bomersback thanked Christense for his contributions during his time, both on and off the ice, ” He’s been a huge part of the success and culture we have created here, and we can’t thank him enough for how he represented the Storm jersey and respected the community of Grande Prairie.”

Bomersback added, “thank you, Chase, for a great 3 years, and we wish you all the best in Niagara!”

The Storm forward now joins Zachary Wilson in suiting up for the ACHA club, come the 2026-2027 season.
