City of Grande Prairie accepting applications for Housing and Homelessness Advisory Committee
The City of Grande Prairie is inviting community members to serve on a new committee aimed at guiding decisions on housing and homelessness priorities.
The Housing and Homelessness Advisory Committee will provide strategic advice and recommendations to council and administration on priorities, system planning, and the allocations of funding.
The committee is replacing the former Community Advisory Board on Housing and Homelessness with a new structure that strengthens accountability and governance while maintaining continuity with federal and provincial programs.
“Addressing housing and homelessness requires thoughtful planning and strong community partnerships,” said City of Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. “The Housing & Homelessness Advisory Committee will help guide decisions that strengthen our local housing system and support residents in need. We are seeking community members who want to help shape long-term housing priorities in our city.”
