Get Ahead of Your Future event for Metis youth

An event for Metis youth to discover their potential future careers will be taking place in Grande Prairie later this month.

Get Ahead of Your Future is organized by the Rupertsland Institute to give Metis youth aged 15-19 the chance to participate in interactive experiences centered around innovation, art, education and storytelling to help them imagine what comes next for them.

Attractions at the event will include a live DJ, an interactive robot exhibit, vendors from various industries and a keynote presentation from Janelle Lapointe of the David Suzuki Foundation.

The event is happening March 23 at Evergreen Park from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
