State of the City happening March 31 in Grande Prairie

The City of Grande Prairie’s annual State of the City event returns at the end of March.

Members of the public are invited to attend and hear remarks and perspectives from the County of Grande Prairie and Municipal District of Greenview as well as a panel discussion featuring members of the health care community, Northwestern Polytechnic, Grande Prairie Police Service and Invest Northwest.

“This event is about perspective,” says Mayor Clayton. “It is an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, to bring local leadership into one room, and to have grounded conversations about what it takes to keep building a strong, resilient and growing community. The progress we are seeing across Grande Prairie and the wider region is the result of partnership, and that is exactly what this event is designed to highlight.”

The State of the City is happening March 31 at Bonnetts Energy Centre, tickets are on sale now.
