Canucks advance in NPHL, Storm win again in Devon

Dawson Creek has advanced to the North Peace Hockey League final.

The Canucks beat visiting Spirit River 5-2 Tuesday night to take the series in seven games. It was the first time the home team won a game in the series.

Dawson Creek will be home to Manning Saturday in Game 1 of the Campbell Cup final.

Face-off at 8:30 p.m. B.C. time.

 Storm

The Storm won 5-4 in Devon Tuesday night to sweep the Xtreme in back-to- back games.

Grande Prairie also won 7-1 in Devon Monday night.

The Storm close out the regular season at home Friday and Saturday against Drayton Valley.

Whitecourt won 3-0 Tuesday night in Calgary to clinch first place in the North Division.

The second-place Storm are three points up on third-place Lloydminster.
