Milestone edition of the Peace Country Classic Agri-Show starts Thursday

Mar 12, 2026 | 6:02 AM

The Peace Country Classic Agri-Show marks a milestone this year.

The version that starts Thursday, March 10, at Evergreen Park will be the 40th edition.

There will be over 100 exhibitors. Trade show space has sold out again this year.

President Jason Anderson says the show will see the return of some long-time exhibitors.

(It’s) our 40th anniversary. We’re very pleased to have four exhibitors that have been there for all of our 40 years. You’re going to see RBC, which has been there (all 40 years); Keddie’s, Culligan Water and the County of Grande Prairie.”

“We’re so very pleased to have been able to host those four exhibitors for 40 years.”

Anderson says people coming will see “the best and biggest in agriculture in today’s marketplace.”

“The (Northern Classic) Bull Sale will be on Friday. The horse program starts Friday and runs Saturday.”

“Our Bids for Kids, our fun auction, is going to be happening again on Saturday. We moved it due to (it) not being (during the same week as the) teacher’s convention this year. We don’t see children on the Friday, typically.”

There will also be something new, says Anderson.

“Bandaged Paws be over in the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion with some adoptable dogs and, possibly, some cats. I’m not really sure about that, but dogs for sure.”

“Our (Peace) Crafts & Creations, which are more the Farmer’s Market-style crafting, is still happening, so that’s (pet adoptions) probably about the new things for this year.”
