Fox Lake RCMP four month long investigation leads to firearm seizure

Fox Lake RCMP say they began an investigation into a local, allegedly selling cocaine and liquor out of their residence in November, 2025.

A search warrant was then executed at the home on Feb. 13, and one suspect was taken into custody.

As a result of the warrant, several items were seized:

• 22 firearms
• Ammunition
• Hard body armour
• Small amounts of cocaine
• $11,000 in Canadian currency
• Drug trafficking paraphernalia

The suspect was released on conditions pending crown approval on twelve charges :

• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
• Four counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Possession of a weapon obtained by crime
• Four other firearm-related offences

 A court date has been set for Apr. 14 in Fort Vermillion.
