Lumber Barons win NWJHL Championship

The La Crete Lumber Barons are this years NWJHL Champions after completing a sweep of the Fort St. John Huskies.

The Lumber Barons captured the win Saturday night (March 14) with a score of 6-2 in the fourth game of the final series.

With the win, the team finished playoffs with a 11-1 record and became NWJHL Champs for the second time in three years.

La Crete will now gear up for Junior B Provincials, which kick off April 1 in Lloydminster.
