Career session for Metis youth set for Monday at Evergreen Park

A session organizers say is a way for Metis youth to “design their path forward” will be held Monday in Grande Prairie.

The Get Ahead of Your Future sessions will go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Evergreen Park.

This is for Metis young people aged 15 to 19.

The event’s website says those taking part will go through different interactive experiences “designed to help them imagine what comes next and feel supported as they shape their own path.”

Organizers say there are three areas called experiences participants can take part in. Those include ones based on art, innovation and career pathways.
