Top six finish for Grande Prairie athlete at skeleton championships

A Grande Prairie athlete is in the top six in her sport across Canada.

Indy Dorscheid finished sixth at the Women’s Skeleton Canadian Championships held March 22 in Whistler, B.C.

Dorscheid took part in her first-ever competition in late November.

One-time world champion Hallie Clarke won the Canadian title. Jane Channell finished second.

They both represented Canada at this year’s Olympics.
