Grande Prairie RCMP have now laid charges after Muskoseepi Park was put under lockdown yesterday (Wednesday, Mar. 25).

The suspect was then later found and arrested by RCMP after disturbing and pointing the replica firearm at several locations around the City.

Twenty-seven-year-old Hunter Philip Joachim of Horse Lake was remanded into custody on three charges with a court date set for Monday, Mar. 30 in Grande Prairie:

  • Pointing a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Fail to comply with release conditions
