County Regional Enforcement Services report 1,761 occurrences during 2025 annual report

County Regional Enforcement Services gave their annual report to County of Grande Prairie Council during Thursday’s Committee of the Whole meeting.

From January 2025 to December 2025, a total of 1,761 occurrences were reported, down from 1,860 in 2024.

The total number of tickets issued also went down from 3,536 in 2024 to 3,502 in 2025.

Conversely, calls to enforcement services went up from 8,781 in 2024 to 9,530 for the same period in 2025.

The number of animals admitted to the Regional Animal Pound also went up from 978 in 2024 to 1,046 in 2025.

Enforcement Services says $1,093,436 in fines were issued in 2025, including a $3,100 fine for an overloaded commercial vehicle and a 153 km/h speeding violation in a 50 km/h zone.

County Regional Enforcement Services respond to residential complaints concerning:

  • Unsightly premises
  • Parking
  • Snow complaints
  • Regulatory bylaws
  • Animal control

The third quarter report from RCMP members from the Grande Prairie Rural and Beaverlodge detachments was also presented during the Committee of the Whole meeting.
