Fairview Health Complex emergency department closed March 29-30

The Fairview Health Complex emergency department will be without an on-site physician for 24 hours this weekend.

Due to a clinical personnel shortage and an inability to secure physician coverage, officials say there will be no on-site physician from 7:00 a.m. Sunday, March 29, to 7:00 a.m. Monday, March 30.

If patients call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to surrounding health care facilities.

If more coverage is found, this disruption may be cancelled.
