County of Grande Prairie flushing Carriage Lane Estates storm lines

Carriage Lane Estates will be having its storm lines flushed next week.

Starting on Monday, Mar. 30, County of Grande Prairie crews will be removing sludge build-up and performing CCTV camera inspections on all storm lines.

They ask the public to avoid the area while the project is ongoing, as crews will need to access manholes, leading to roadways and walking paths being temporarily blocked throughout the week.

The county also notes that people in the neighbourhood may hear noise from trucks and workers, as they may need to use tools to find and inspect manholes. Officials also remind residents that covers “should never be buried or hidden.”
